CURRENT POSITIONS
Location - South Auckland. Wage: $17 to $20/hr. Start a.s.a.p.
An experienced Welder Fabricator/Steel Window Fabricator is required or a Sheetmetal worker as Sheetmetal workers can Weld & Fabricator.
This position involves the fabrication of steel door and window frames,heavy duty framing systems, welded hollow window profiles, fire rated doors, 32mm wide with 5mm thick flanges for commercial and industrial applications and the fabrication of mild steel framing 1.2mm to 6mm square tubing for different types of jobs.
You will use and read AutoCAD drawings and read and work from Engineering drawings.
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 5 years experience. You should be able to MIG weld, TIG weld and spot weld, measure and mark up a job, do site work on a regular basis. You will be able to be shown the job and get on and get it done to a high standard of workmanship while working unsupervised. You will also be aware of Health and Safety issues in the Engineering field.
